Karen Corcoran MSEd, LPCC-S

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has the honor to work with people in their time of need.   I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University. I then went on to obtain my Masters in Clinical Counseling from the University of Dayton in 2014. My experience includes working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, autism and other various stressors that present in everyday life. I have worked in a variety of settings, including home-based community work, community mental health agencies, and now private practice.

I am an EMDR Therapist, as well as trauma-informed, recognizing that current and past traumatic events can impact a person’s own perspective

I am passionate and humbled each day working as a therapist, meeting amazing people and supporting them on their own individual journey. My work focuses on a strength-based approach, building on an individual’s strengths and creating a positive therapeutic relationship.
